This year, instead of posting Christmas cards, we’re supporting the National Theatre of Scotland’s Festive Firsts campaign to give young people across the country their first experience of live theatre.
The Festive Firsts initiative offers a first theatre experience to young people who have never had the opportunity: because of where they live; because of how much money they have; because their life situation hasn’t allowed them to take part; or because they just didn’t think theatre was ‘for them.’
Festive Firsts provides them with return transport and a ticket to enjoy worldclass live theatre for the first time. They’ll receive a printed programme, interval drinks and the chance to meet the cast of the show.
And they’ll find out more about how theatre is made and learn new life skills in a specially designed workshop. We hope your festive season is full of magical experiences and wish you all the very best for a happy and prosperous 2020.
